Roger is a computer engineer at Intel Corps. and holds a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from University of Michigan and a Masters in Computer Science from Boston University. In July 2010, Roger relocated to Denver from Boston and continues his career with Intel in Fort Collins. While in Boston, Roger served as chairperson for various Intel employee groups and initiatives. With this prior leadership experience, he looks forward to directing his energies outside of the company to the wider Asian-American community in Colorado.

Roger also serves as NAAAP Colorado’s Community Relations Chair and on the Board of Directors.

Ophus is Colorado-native and serves as the Vice President of Operations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Denver.

National Liaison, Programming Co-chair (NAAAP ACTIVE)

Jean Lojean.lo@naaapcolorado.org

Jean is National Liaison, maintaining the relationship between the Colorado chapter and the NAAAP National. Jean also leads the NAAAP Active programs, organizing wellness opportunities such as tennis, yoga, ski trips, and dragon boat. Since 2008, Jean has served NAAAP in a variety of roles: Board Member and National Liaison of the Connecticut chapter, Project Manager for the 2010 National Leadership Retreat, East Regional Director of Chapter Development on the NAAAP National Administration, and National Chief Chapter Relations Officer.

Jean holds a B.S. in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After beginning her career in the financial services industry in Hartford, Connecticut, Jean identified (through NAAAP) that her true passion was education. At various NAAAP National events, Jean met and stayed in contact with the amiable NAAAP Colorado chapter leaders. A few years passed and, in April 2014, she relocated to Colorado to be the founding Director of School-Based Operations at STRIVE Prep – Ruby Hill Elementary in southwest Denver. Jean is a private pilot (ASEL) who admires black cats and enjoys all types of fitness activities, especially volleyball, snowboarding, softball, and cycling.


Treasurer

Clifton Moyclifton.moy@naaapcolorado.org

Clifton was born in Illinois and was moved here when he was 3, so he is very familiar with Colorado. Clifton joined the Air Force in 1996 and was out of the state stationed at various air bases for his 5 years with active duty. He then joined the Colorado Air National Guard where he is still employed, and returned home to be closer to his family. Clifton is presently attending Metropolitan State College of Denver, soon to be Denver State University, pursuing a degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering. Clifton met his wife, Jessica, in 2008 and was recently married in June 2010.

Clifton also serves on NAAAP Colorado’s Board of Directors


Secretary, Marketing Committee Chair

Kirk Matsuzakikirk.matsuzaki@naaapcolorado.org

Kirk is a So-Cal native who moved to Denver in July 2010. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the California State University of Northridge and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at UC Denver, specializing in sustainability. Kirk is an intern at Boulder Community Hospital and an Account Executive for Independent Producers of America, Inc. He loves 90’s music, sports, the outdoors, and is an avid Los Angeles team sports fan. He is excited about getting more involved with the Asian American community in Colorado.

Kirk also serves as NAAAP Colorado’s Marketing Chair.

Alexandria was born in Littleton, Colorado, and moved to Korea with her family when she was three years old. She came back to Colorado after living in Korea for ten years. She graduated from University of Colorado at Denver with B.S.B.A. double major in Marketing and Management with Minor in Ecomonics. She currently works at the Leaffer Law Group as an Administrative Assistant. She is serving as a Interim Board of Korean American Community Foundation of Colorado and Executive Director of Serving Professionals Rise of Hidden Talents Mentoring Program. She is anticipating on going back to school for M.B.A.

Priscilla graduated from the University of Denver with a Master degree in Public Policy and now a candidate for Master of Science in Information System Security and Certificate in Criminal Forensics. She has two years’ experience in web development. Priscilla now works as a full-time IT, and managing few websites of her own. she found her passion in enterprise security architecture and cyber criminology. Priscilla joined Women in NAAAP to give back to the community and share positive energy with others. She lives in Northeast Denver with her puppy.

Le graduated from the University of Colorado for her Bachelors of Science in Biology/Physiology and is pursuing her Master’s degree in Project Management specializing in Business Intelligence with Colorado State University Global Campus. Le holds a position at OppenheimerFunds and is a lead in their women’s network business resource group. Currently, Le is working with her diversity and inclusion team to bring an AAPI business resource group to the firm. Le is married and have two dogs but planning on having children. Le joined Women in NAAAP to network with professional women outside of work and influence others to follow their aspirations.

Xiao is a Chinese American who was originally born from Beijing, China. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 7, and has lived near Denver ever since. Xiao graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in 2006 with a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science. He has stayed in the technology field for the majority of the time, and has served in various industries such as Healthcare, Telecommunications, and Cloud Storage. He is now a mobile iOS engineer at TrackVia Inc, focusing on mobile solutions for online data tracking and management.During his free time Xiao is involved in his church and small groups, leads Toastmasters, and serves at local soup kitchens.

Xiao also serves on NAAAP Colorado’s Board of Directors.

Jie “Jay” Zhengjay@naaapcolorado.org

Jie “Jay” Zheng is a seasoned professional with innovative thought leadership and practical experience in culture and global business integration. His business development-centric and people-focused approach has enabled organizations to connect business objectives with diversity and inclusion, global talent development and employee engagement.

Mr. Zheng’s career includes 19 years of management experience in technology industry, as well as being an entrepreneur. His family owns Volcano Restaurant in Centennial, a locally owned and managed fine-dining Asian fusion restaurant where traditional Chinese dishes are offered.
In addition to on-the-job achievements, Mr. Zheng is a respected leader in Diversity and Inclusion across the nation. He transformed the Asian Employee Resource Group (ERG) practice at StorageTek and Sun Microsystems from culture-centric to business partnership focusing on global talent management and business development. He is the founder and the first term President of the Colorado chapter of National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) from 2006 through 2009. He was named by Diversity Edge magazine as a 2008 Diversity Champion.

Mr. Zheng was born in Shanghai, China. He received MBA in Marketing, E-Commerce and Entrepreneurship from Simon School of Business, University of Rochester and MS in Polymer Chemistry from Rochester Institute of Technology.
